Flight Summary

This 9th leg is a stunningly beautiful short inland hop to Skye from Oban. My favourite so far. I haven't flown them yet but ZKDOS is covering some of the next few legs differently. I would recommend trying them, this is such a great area to fly around, and visit on the ground as well (if you don't mind midges!).

How do I use this file?

From Oban we return up Loch Linnhe to Fort William with fantastic views of Ben Nevis, especially with your clouds and time of day set well, turbulence is a killer with live weather (can't enjoy the scenery).

We continue towards Fort Augustus and then follow the A87 over to Skye.

After Fort William you need 2,500ft but you get the best views and flight this high anyway.
