We depart Tires (LPCS) on this beautiful day and head to Portugal's capital Lisbon landing at (LPPT). And perhaps make a Lisbon circuit to enjoy some of the big city sites.

From Lisbon we'll more or less tick tack our way northward, via rivers and valleys, over mountains and across the orchards of the Douro Valley. Portugal’s finest wine country. We’ll make 6 additional stops along the way: stopping at LPSR, LP77, LPMR, (LPCO halfway point), LPVZ and LPVR before reaching our destination of Chaves (LPCH) in Northern Portugal. Note: Portugal is Britain’s oldest ally (since 1147).

The trip is 238 nm so an aircraft that can fly @ 150 kts or so will fit the bill.
