Apparently on Tenerife is the highest peak of Spain towering at 3718 meters and the island of La Gomera has its own purely whistled language. All we know is that the Canary Islands are not named after the canary bird but got there name from the Latin word canis, meaning dog. Wonder if the producer came from here...
