The flight plan includes stops at Skagway, where the Gold Rush Cemetary is located. This is the "end of the trail" for many gold prospectors of the Klondike. The Gold Rush of 1896 to 1899 was centered at the confluence of the Klondike and the Yukon Rivers near the town of Dawson, which is about 90 miles north of Whitehorse, the location of the Klondike National Historic Site.
