To mark the official reception of the first four F-35 aircraft (which actually arrived on September 14th 2023), Royal Danish Air Force F-35s conducted two flights around Denmark on October 1st 2023. This is one of two planned routes, one covering the western part of Denmark and one covering the eastern part, which are each flown by a F-35 which is escorded by a F-16, simultaneously. The two formations will meet and merge at the Great Belt strait (between Kalundborg and Nyborg) and continue together for the remainder of the route, finishing their flights with a flyby in unison over Skrydstrup Airbase. Notes : Over solid land (and especially over the waypoints!!) the default altitude and speed should be approximately 600 meters / 2000 feet at a IAS of 350 knots. By default, the pilots will fly over the center of the respective cities. Enjoy.
